I ought to be very grateful to that woman. Whatever else the Lady Felizia is, she's certainly an ample distraction. No one is even likely to recall how awful my showing was, there, not after that. It's all her and how bold and daring she is. And arguing, of course. Always that. Was that scene she made justified? Does her opinion have merit, oh, I do like that question. I especially enjoy how no one dares ask it too loudly. Prince Reeve holds power over them still, regardless of what they say or what one brave woman says and does.
But none of that matters, does it? What matters is what the Queen thinks of it all. It is no secret that Lady Felizia's is the correct position, in her eyes, and it was all so ...
... It is something to watch. That's certain.
It will be interesting to hear what Lady Aes thinks, at tea. I only hope that unseemly brother of hers will be absent from the manor, today, the man makes such a point of casting a shadow over anything remotely pleasant. House Cresyn is in such a powerful position; everything idiotic thing that man says or does gathers so much attention. He could prove to be a very damaging liability, in the weeks to come ...
