It was so good to see such a turnout for Mother's announcement. And we are of course pleased to see that word has spread so quickly even to those unfortunate enough to have been occupied elsewhere.

I hope we have not interrupted any existing plans for the Moon Festival ... too terribly. It was really the only proper backdrop we could imagine, given the date. Believe me, once you have heard Raezi tell the tale of Eban and Rhaieen, all future tellings will seem dull and pale in comparison!

I do not intend to spoil any of the surprises we have planned, but I am confident when I say that you will not regret attending, if you so choose.
